Giza, on the west bank 5

Giza, on the west bank of the Nile, is where Cairo’s private weekly series gather. Golden Knight ran from April 2025, with a classical event in July 2025 given as in front of the Al Bohouth metro station and autumn events named after Dokki. Golden Nine followed in August 2026 and keeps three days: rapid on Fridays, blitz on Mondays and classical on Sundays. Nova X held its first classical tournament in May 2026, among rapid and blitz events.

Further south, the Haram Sigma series has numbered rapid tournaments on Fridays, with a notice for 16 October 2026 that prints the start time and the fee. The Dokki team won the Premier League A table of 2025–2026 and ran a run of open events in early 2025. No hall is named for any of them, so the district in each entry comes from the series titles.
