Report a club, an academy or an error

Use this form for a chess academy, club, team, school or tournament series in Cairo, Giza or Sheikh Zayed that is missing here, or for an entry that is wrong or out of date. Notes from players, parents, coaches and organisers are all welcome.

The most useful thing to include is a link: a tournament page, an academy’s timetable, a dated post. Notes are read together at the next revision and checked against that page, and each change that follows is dated under what changed.

What is the note about?
For a new entry: what chess happens there and when. For an error: which line of the entry is wrong.
A link to the page, tournament listing or post that shows it.
Only so the note has someone behind it; it is never published.
A phone number or messenger account, for anyone who would rather not give an email.

One contact is enough. Nobody else sees it, and it is used only if the editors need to reply.

What happens to the note

  • The note waits with the others until the directory is next revised.
  • It is then checked against the pages of the academy, club or organiser; where they confirm it, the entry changes and the date goes into what changed.
  • Where no page supports it, the entry stays as it is, with any unconfirmed mark it already carries.
  • A reply goes only to a sender who asked for one and left a contact.
